I’m a 15 year old female. I went to the doctor yesterday and spoke of my depression and suicidal thoughts. The doctor said she’d refer me to a psychiatrist or psychologist and also offered my mom information to Mental Health Services. What exactly does that mean?

I notice that my friend is always moody, anxious, and depressed. I don’t know what happened to her but she started acting this ways after her parents divorced. I tried to talk to her but she told that she’s fine. I’m afraid that she’s having mental and emotional problems. I care for her so I hope I can find a center that offers mental health services here in Manhattan.

Could someone please tell me the rules and considerations of being discharged from mental health services in the uk. I’m 30 years old and suffer from borderline personality disorder, anxiety and depression. I also self harm. I’m scared my psychiatrist and CPN will discharge me before i’m ready. I’m currently on an enhanced CPA and i take trazodone and olanzapine.What rules/considerations come into my being discharged. Can a psychiatrist discharge me without my care coordinator’s permission ?. Please can someone just give me some infomation on this subject ?

I need mental health services but I am completely broke and do not have a job. They said I could qualify for state funded insurance but I couldn’t find out if I qualify unless I go to the hospital which is quite far from me. Does anyone know how you qualify for this? I am 24 years old and have middle class parents.
