I have a lot of belly fat. I have never been very good at exercises but I think it’s time to take control of this situation and do something good for myself. Does anyone have some tips of good exercises that I can do at home that will shed some pounds. Are you supposed to lose the weight first and then tone up? Any tips would be helpful. Also any recipes would be helpful that are healthy foods. Thank you!

I’m currently 18 years old, 5’1 and 163 pounds. I want to lose at least 53 pounds. I want to live a healthy life and want to be in shape. I did gymnastics for 8 years, but quit when I was about 12. After I quit I started being lazy and gaining weight.
What are some exercises and healthy living and eating tips that I can do to reach my goal?
