Ok so I have been sick since getting back to college from thanksgiving break. My symptoms are: I have had a fever for 4 days. It started on the first day with a sore throat. The second day was a little better as far as my throat and now it doesn’t hurt at all. On the third day my apartment building had a bad water heater that kept me up all night. When I got up in the morning I had a bruised eye lid and it is still sore. I am not sure if I should go to the college health center (which is not the greatest) or go to the hospital. Any ideas? Im thinking I have a cold or the flu or something.

I would like to get a prescription for anti-depressants without my parents knowing. I am 19, so the doctor is not obligated to tell them, but I am under their medical insurance, which reports all the prescriptions of all the family members each month. However, I know my college health center operates independently of the health insurance company, so the prescription would never show up. I’m just not certain whether or not they can write prescriptions. Can they?

I am taking accutane, and it has pretty much cleared all of my acne, except for this one cyst on my nose that has been there for seriously a month now. I was wondering if I want to get a cortisone shot to get rid of it, is that something my college health center can take care of, or should I go to a general practice doctor elsewhere? Thanks. 10 points to best answer.
